In November 2016 Foodasia Group, a leading Filipino F&B brand operator changed the cheese tart game in the Philippines with the launch of LAVA Cheese Tarts. Foodasia Group owner Richard Sanz had first tasted cheese tarts during a trip to Japan three years earlier and he was completely hooked. Being an advocate of supporting local business Richard and his team developed their own version of the cheese tart using primarily local ingredients and adapting the taste and value proposition to the Filipino market and from there LAVA erupted onto the scene in Manila.
Made from the finest local ingredients each bite you take of a LAVA Cheese Tart is every bit as Filipino as it can possibly be and customers are quickly falling in love with LAVA’s take on the famous Japanese pastry, with a molten core made out of three different kinds of local artisinal cheeses made from buffalo milk.
Baked perfectly golden brown on the outside and rich and gooey on the inside LAVA Cheese Tarts with the sweet and tangy flavor oozing out in every bite. LAVA Cheese Tarts come in the following varieties:
To compliment the cheese tarts LAVA also offers LAVA Origins, their take on local Filipino coffee using a blend of 6 different exotic varieties of local coffee beans from key coffee growing regions of the Philippines and giving customers a freshly brewed cup which perfectly complements the LAVA experience.
Additionally, LAVA offers Premium Cheese Soft Ice Cream which is a thick and creamy blend of 4 different cheeses and LAVA Eruptions which is the premium cheese ice cream in a cup with a choice of up to 3 mix-ins for a textured eruption in every mouthful.
With the capability and experience of the Foodasia Group behind it and the fantastic success since launching in the Philippines LAVA is now launching its international expansion program and invites qualified and capable master franchisees and area developers to apply.
